Universidade Positivo X Temple University

Hello!

We have set up this web page to help students, staff, and faculty of Universidade Positivo explore the mobility options available with Temple University. We invite you to also explore other websites of Temple University, including: Global Programs, the Graduate School, and Student Life. But this page will highlight the key details important for the UP community.

When UP students come to Temple

Students can choose from three paths: English language training, a semester or year studying abroad, or a Master's degree through the Dual Bachelor's Master's Degree Program. We invite you to learn more about life in Philadelphia, academics at Temple University, and all the opportunities presented to you through the partnership between our two institutions.

Improve your English

Whether you are preparing for university studies or advancing your career, Temple's Center for American Language and Culture (TCALC) has a program for you.

Study Abroad and Exchange

Temple offers courses across nearly every academic field. Whether you are studying business, engineering, the arts, or social sciences, you’ll find opportunities that fit your degree requirements and personal interests.

Temple has especially strong offerings in areas that appeal to international students, including:

  • Media & Communication – courses in journalism, film, and digital production.
  • Political Science & Global Studies – learn about international relations and global policy issues.
  • Urban Research & Social Innovation – explore how cities like Philadelphia address housing, sustainability, and community development.
  • Sports, Tourism, & Hospitality – study management in a global industry with practical experiences in a sports-driven city.

The online Class Search tool allows you to explore courses by subject, semester, day and time, and instructor. Course listings include descriptions, prerequisites, credit hours, and meeting locations.

DBMD Program

Temple University’s DBMD program connects you to a wide range of master’s degree options across STEM, business, arts, and health disciplines. Whether you want to launch a career in technology, lead in global markets, create groundbreaking designs, or improve public health outcomes, you’ll find a program that aligns with your goals.

With options across 13 Temple colleges, DBMD students have the flexibility to match their academic interests with career opportunities in the U.S. and around the world. Based on previous conversations with UP students, we think these degrees are the best match:

Tuition and Scholarships

Every DBMD student will receive merit-based scholarships every semester provided they maintain a 3.0 GPA.  Scholarship awards are up to 20% of tuition. DBMD students are also eligible for scholarships from their academic department which can be combined with the DBMD award.
